From a very young age, I have had a passion for drawing and painting. This passion eventually led me to Virginia Tech to major in Architecture, where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1995.

I have been working in architecture firms since I was in my second year at Virginia Tech. I have worked at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in Pittsburgh, Wnuk Spurlock Architects in Washington DC, David Furman; LS3P; and FMK Architects in Charlotte.

I have lived in Charlotte since 1996, and am a registered architect in the state of North Carolina.

When I had my first child in 2004, I spent the next several years being a full time mom, while doing some solo projects and some freelance work with FMK Architects (commercial / multi-family) and Kent Lineberger Architecture (custom residential).

Since 2016, I have made my own practice my main focus and continue to grow and develop it.

My interest in architecture lies with bringing the client unique design ideas that solves their programmatic requirements in both a practical and beautiful way.

Besides architecture, I enjoy creating art; being in nature whether hiking or camping; spending time with my family and my dog; cooking; reading; and gardening.
